About one year ago I starting Blogging about the value Fibre would bring to our businesses here in HB. Now that we have real customers using the service I can now validate everything I said as true.
Its been a very busy year, and know that the wrinkles have been ironed out we can get together and Talkmore about Fibre with you.
To make FIBRE work for your business you need to understand what it can actually do , how does it work, how is it going to integrate with your Comms, what will it cost to install, will it help me save money, will it make things better, is it going to be dearer or cheaper than copper, what about EFTPOS and probabaly some other stuff you may want to know.
So lets do a crash course 101 Talkmore Style.
One Strand of Fibre can deliver the same internet speed along its length - ADSL cannot.
Our Starter Plan has a download speed of 10mbps and upload of 10mbps. ADSL on average is between 8-10 Down and only 0.7mbps upload.
The Upload speed is important for real time services such as Voice and Video.
Ping Speed on Fibre is 5-10 milliseconds, ADSL can be upto 60 miliseconds.
You decide how fast you want to connect. 10/10 , 30/10, 100/50, or 100/100. Of course you pay more for the faster speeds.
We guarantee an absolute minimum speed on all Circuits - ADSL does not.
With our Fibre there is NO DATA CAP on National Data.
With our Fibre you choose the GLOBAL DATA Add on again with NO CAP!
One Strand of Fibre with a Starter 10/10 plan can support upto 10 phone lines!
One Talkmore Phone number can handle 5 Simultaneous calls! Pots lines can do one and ISDN can do 2.
Each Talkmore Fibre Plan comes with two phone numbers , 2 voice or 1 voice / 1 fax.
TALKMORE Fibre is reliable as the connection is provided in conjunction with and approved by UNISON Fibre, One Fibre and Kordia Networks. Other large ISP’s use the same partners as us.
In the unlikely event of an outage Talkmore has a redundancy plan for All phone lines which kicks in Automagically.
NZ Based data storage or cloud computing services are now able to provide really good services as the connection is in real time . Also because there is NO DATA CAP you wont get a nasty bill each month for blowing your cap!
TALKMORE provides fixed monthly pricing , based on your chosen plan, Awesome!
Compared to copper telephone lines TALKMORE provides far more for far less every month. Most service related business will save money every month by moving to TALKMORE Fibre.
Normal Internet use on Fibre is generally alot faster beacuse of the improved upload and ping speeds, VOIP services are Much Better on Fibre than ADSL , VOIP makes Fibre very cost competitive for business use.
TALKMORE has 20 Business customers using VOIP on Fibre. Since February we have had more 300,000 calls made on our Voice Services.
VOIP is also called SIP.
TALKMORE use the best pure IP Telephony , Routing and Hardware on Fibre from Cisco, Zyxel, Mikrotik, Yealink . We do not recommend using legacy telephone systems with Fibre.
TALKMORE’s recommended IP telephones and PBX’s are at least ½ the price of legacy phone systems but with far more features.
TALKMORE Fibre is for Business Use Only.
TALKMORE provide a fully managed migration service for all new connections
One TALKMORE Fibre connection will support multiple Eftpos machines, upto 10 VOIP/ SIP Lines, Alarm Monitoring, IP Cameras, Cloud Computing and Off site data storage.
