This takes some understanding. The new iPhone 3GS model comes three features, a compass, GPS chip and a video camera, which, when combined, create something truly incredible. These three features allows the iPhone to know where you are and in what direction you are pointing the phone. Applications can be created which associates data with your position and direction and overlays this on real images. AR takes on a new direction with Google Goggles, take a photo of something to search for info on it….. has some privacy issues apparently http://www.nzherald.co.nz/google/news/article.cfm?o_id=600581&objectid=10615395 but very cool!
