In the past month we have had three prospective clients from outside of the region make the trip to sunny Hawke’s Bay to have an initial meeting regarding their online strategy.
It’s great to see businesses from “the capital” and “big smoke” willing to not only look outside of their own confines for expertise, but also willing to make the trip to us (even before choosing to use our services).
Is it just the fantastic weather (this weekend aside) and wine that beckons to these metro dwellers, or is it the innovation that “small town”, big thinkers breed that appeals?
I’m keen to hear who else may be perceived as being a “Hawke’s Bay only” business that actually has national/international reach.

Most of us are probably perceived as “HB only” businesses but I think it would be fair to say that a lot of the ICT community also have national/international clients. It is so easy to communicate via email, Skype etc, that the distance is not an issue. And in order to see the growth in our businesses that we all want – we need to have them!
