BNZ Partners + Eclypse

By Rod Drury, August 12th, 2010

I was part of another event at the new BNZ Partners office in Hastings Street tonight.  I'm really impressed with the facilities in the BNZ Partners offices. They are very generous in providing space for business and community events. It's a great idea for banks to provide good spaces in the regions for businesses to connect.  It's certainly appreciated. It's also great to be able to grab an office up there and use their wifi when needed.

If you haven't been up there I'd suggest introducing yourself to Luke and the team.  We do a number of Xero events in the Hastings office and around the other regions.

Tonight was hosted by Eclypse, a new company helping schools with their accounting and administration.  (No website yet, go George go.) We had a number of schools along to talk about Xero and I was delighted to hear how much easier schools are finding it to manage their financials.

Merynn, Jennifer and Maria from Eclypse are good examples of the many new businesses we're seeing where passionate and experienced people are peeling out of established companies to do their own thing and using technology to define a new service.  These types of consulting and service firms provide real value. Being able to leverage technology means they can operate from anywhere.  It's great to see.

Thanks Rod and also to the Eclypse Team.
The presentation/demonstration was brilliant showing the capability of Xero in conjunction with Eclypse to make it easier for schools to manage their finances and admin.
If you have not had a chance, please feel free to call into our new Partners Centre, Level 1 205 Hastings Street for a guided tour, a free coffee and see how the Centre and BNZ could work for your business.
