Mo vember Update – Week 2

By Paul Thompson, November 13th, 2009

The second week of fantastic follicular growth has passed and the MoPOWER team at Intersoft are looking mighty fine! (if you like dodgy Mexican wannabes). Andrew from FX Networks has thown his support inot the mix as well as the team from Colliers / Tremains so most of the (male) population of Kel Tremain house now has hair sprouting from their upper lips.

More photos next week.

  1. A very fine bunch of blokes to be sure, even if somewhat hairy. I have always thought MoVember was for a great cause. I spent several years in the UK and prostrate cancer at that time was being discussed openly and it is good to see that this is now the case in NZ.

I read the following article recently and was a little disconcerted that all is not, perhaps, as it seems.

This article was more recently followed by one on breast cancer and it has now come to pass a bit of a retraction in the US on the effectiveness of a mammogram.

  2. As you all know – Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. …

We have all been keeping our heads down but it’s nearly time to rise up and celebrate! Come along and enjoy a drink and admire the efforts of those brave men and women who have participated and supported Movember.

Entrance by donation (Funds to support prostate cancer)

    Where & When?

Monday 30th Movember 5:00pm FX Networks, 2nd Floor, Kel Tremain House, 19 Marine Parade, Napier
RSVP to Andrew Friedlander (andrew.friedlander@fx.net.nz ) or Paul Thompson( PT@intersoft.co.nz )

  3. How about some updated pics to see how the mo’s ended up…

  4. New pictures posted and almost $1900 raised!
