I think it sounds like a pretty good holiday. I’m on an extended holiday myself and have enjoyed the wines of Hawke’s Bay, seen the seals at Cape Pillisar and warmed my feet in the thermals of Rotorura!

Best book to read is OPEN by Andre Agassi. An amazing insight into the world of tennis and what’s it’s like to compete in professional sport.

Was just reading they shot all three films at once and the 3rd movie is being released in March. I think I’ll hold off until they’re all on Amzon and grab them for marathon movie night.

Ditto on the trilogy – read it in a week – couldn’t put it down.Thing was by the time I got to the third book I was amazed how it all started…so what about the conspircy theory over the author – heart attack – tui! Movie I’ve heard is fantastic – raw, grewsome, even with subtitles – but not for the faint hearted.

Ok, ok – I confess. Its not something I am particulary proud of but yes, I read the Twilight series (for the second time) over the holidays. And yes, I saw the New Moon movie. Its all very sad really – not the movie, but that a woman nudging 40 went to see it (and enjoyed it). Worse still, she has now publically confessed to it. So changing the subject, I too spent the holidays at Waipatiki. Husband set cray pots with a kayak and managed to feed the whanau on a daily basis with riches from the sea. Not a lot, but a little, often. Living the dream!
