The Hastings district is in my opinion one of NZ’s best adventure playgrounds. We have it all – sea, mountains, rivers and great weather.
The Snow Wilkins HB Adventure Race is the best way to enjoy of all the district offers. Over 6 hours entrants kayak, mountain bike, abseil and navigate their way over a 20-35km course. Other fun activities have included driving four wheel vehicles blind folded!
The race venue always remains a secret until the night before and only an average fitnesss level is required. The race is a team event – either two or four people and it’s always good if one person can read a map!
