We spend most of two weeks out at Waipatiki every Christmas in the family bach. Even with the commute it's a pretty sweet deal. Luckily for me we've got a compulsory closedown this year and my wife is off til 5 January, so we'll only have to come into town for the beer run every couple of days! Yeah that’s an awesome spot.
