One of my favorite things to do is wander down to the Hastings Farmers Market on a Sunday, grab a coffee and take some time to wander around and pick up fresh, locally grown produce and have a chance to talk to the people who's blood, sweat, tears and passion goes into these tasty treats.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Hawkes Bay market is the very best in New Zealand. Tweet2eat wrote a great article on the market recently, http://www.tweet2eat.co.nz/2012/02/hawkes-bay-farmers-market-our-local.html
Show your support for our fantastic market by getting in behind thenm and voting in the Taste Farmers Market New Zealand Award. To Vote for your favourite Farmers' Market Click here I know its a bit of effort to fill the form in, but it wont take more than a couple of minutes i promise!!!
