Does anyone want to start a Fruitbowl book club?
Hal Josephson recently loaned me The Long Tail by Chris Anderson and I thought it was pretty cool. If you haven't read it, it's about the way the Internet is changing the way people search for and buy stuff. Google, iTunes, and Amazon are classic examples of Long Tail businesses.
We've got a few great business books gathering dust here in the Mogul library that you might be interested in:
'Outliers: The Story of Success' by Malcolm Gladwell
'The New Rules of Marketing and PR' by David Meerman Scott
'Inside Drucker's Brain' by Jeffrey A. Krames
and quite a few geek tech books about web development and design. We've also got tons of non-fiction. What gems have you read lately that you would like to share with your fellow Fruitbowlers?
(WARNING: please do not include 'The Girl with the Dragon/Fire/Tattoo/Hornet's Nest/whatever' or anything to do with vampires and/or werewolves!)
