Louie’s logo design chosen for ‘The Rock’ Folden

By George Miller, April 15th, 2010

We always knew Louie was an extremely talented web designer but he’s pretty handy at logos too.

His logo was chosen in the ‘The Rock’ radio station’s Folden promotion.

The task was to design a logo for a half Ford Mustang, and half HQ Holden vehicle. Louie heard about it on the radio station and banged out this logo while having a cup of tea:

And his design has been chosen!!! Legend!

And he has been invited to the launch. Check it out:

  1. im not proud of this logo by any stretch of the word.

  2. Oh c’mon Louie – you whipped it up in 10 minutes in your spare time – that’s pretty clever.

  3. Well done Louie – you might not be proud of it but it had the desired effect!

  4. True that, i think the coolest thing is that they made it into a badge.

  5. Louis, that is one very clean merge of the Ford and Holden logo.
Being an import from overseas myself, I don’t quite understand the rivalry between the two brand that to me look almost identical (please don’t cast your stones on me!) and love the fact that a Radio station such as the Rock came up with the idea to merge the two together.
And your logo is just the cream on top of the cake. It just finishes it beautifully! Especially the badge! Well done!
