Intersoft Systems Ltd is a Napier based Software Development Company that has a long and successful history of producing a range of business software packages for the Australasian market. We are expanding our staff and the opportunity now exists for you to join our team as a full time Software Support Analyst / Programmer.

The successful applicant will act in a key support role for our range of business software systems. With the release of our new finPOWER Connect system, a new team member is required to develop an in-depth knowledge of the system and assist with the technical support and customisation of the system. Our clients rely on our software to run their business so a task focused individual willing to take up the challenge is needed.

Skills the successful applicant would ideally possess are:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly establish a rapport with a diverse range of clients
Competency and experience in either VBA, VB or VB.NET
A working knowledge of HTML and SQL
Experience in supporting business systems would be an advantage
Exposure to the finance industry would be of benefit.
Ability to work in a closely knit, Napier based team

Movember – the results are in

"Mo" vember is over for another year - "yay" we hear shouted from the wives - but not before the Mo POWER team from InterSoft, FXNetworks and Lauranka managed to raise a whopping $1865.00 for the Cancer Foundation and the Mental Health Foundation of NZ. Another great effort and a big THANK YOU to all those that donated.

The second week of fantastic follicular growth has passed and the MoPOWER team at Intersoft are looking mighty fine! (if you like dodgy Mexican wannabes). Andrew from FX Networks has thown his support inot the mix as well as the team from Colliers / Tremains so most of the (male) population of Kel Tremain house now has hair sprouting from their upper lips.

Hot new Coffee Spot

OK - I know we have some coffee lovers that follow FruitBowl so I thought I would share my latest "find".

Adoro Cafe in Hastings St, Napier (just down from the BNZ) produces some of the best coffee I have had in Napier. They select, roast and blend their own beans and have a traditional espresso machine. Their focus is on producing authentic Italian style coffees and they are something to behold.

Not only are the coffee's addictive, but they also import French pastries which, if you are feeling indulgent, are the perfect match for a morning shot!

Just to make it clear I have no interest in Adoro Cafe other than being able to enjoy great coffee - so this comes straight from the taste buds!

If you are in Napier, then try it. You will not be disappointed.

“Mo-vember” hits the IT sector

It is Movember time again and the Manly Men at Intersoft are getting behind this great event and showing their follicular fashion and prowess in growing moustaches. We need your help!! So join our team, grow a Mo and raise some dough!

This is the 3rd year Intersoft has been involved and last year we raised $1245. This year we hope to do even better with more team members and more fundraising. So far, the FX Network team has signed up but we need some more "Mo Growers"
